A small joint. A big difference.

Most people look at the tiles, the floor or the worktop. My eye goes to the joint. The line under a skirting. The shower corner. The point where two materials meet.

That is where you see how carefully something was finished.

Sealant work is my craft. Silicone, acrylic and elastic joints in bathrooms, kitchens and the rest of the interior. What holds my attention is not only the clean line at the end. It is the choices before that: the substrate, the prep, the right material and a colour that lets the whole thing sit still.

A good-looking joint has to do more than look good in a photo. It has to match the job and the movement of that junction. So I do not only show how I tool a bead — I show why I pick one way and not another.

Sometimes the difference is another cartridge. Sometimes it is more thorough prep. And sometimes it is knowing when another problem has to be fixed first.

MastroSilicone is where I share that eye for detail. With site photos, clear explanation, and the tools and materials I use. For anyone who knows a proper finish makes the whole result better.

No half work. Not even in the smallest joint.
